Bruce Ackermann founded Sand Hill Equity Research in 2005 as an independent, subscription-based, fundamental research firm focused on human capital management. 

Mr. Ackermann is an industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in the human capital management sector and an extensive financial background.  Mr. Ackermann built and ran six Interim Healthcare staffing offices, four Spherion office/light industrial staffing offices, a legal staffing service and a workers’ compensation case management business.

Mr. Ackermann began his career doing merger and acquisition due diligence work as a financial analyst with Chemed Corporation, a publicly traded specialty chemicals and medical products and services firm spun off by W.R. Grace & Company.
